THAILAND'S BANGKOK (AP) — Ordinary individuals are risking their health to offer care and supplies to fearful, fatigued patients who have fallen between the cracks as Thailand's medical system struggles to cope with a surge in coronavirus cases.
His volunteer group, Samai Will Survive, has been working around the clock, answering around a hundred SOS calls each day from desperate COVID-19 patients who have been unable to receive the care they require.
