Plane crashes in Cambodia PMTair Flight 241

 PMTair Flight 241 (U4 241/PMT241) was a scheduled domestic passenger flight that operated between Siem Reap International Airport and Sihanoukville International Airport. An Antonov An-24 was used by PMTair for the flight. The Antonov An-24, registered as XU-U4A, vanished over Cambodian forest near Bokor on its way to Sihanoukville on June 25, 2007.


 While on its way to Sihanoukville, the Antonov An-24, registered as XU-U4A, vanished over Cambodian forest near Bokor. Thousands of troops and police combed the region in a major search and rescue effort. The plane was discovered in southwestern Cambodia, northeast of Bokor Mountain in Kampot Province, after it crashed. All 22 passengers, the majority of whom were South Korean tourists, were killed.
